How these answers are produced

Quordle's published game code uses dated seeds, fixed answer lists and a deterministic random-number generator. Our daily AWS job independently applies that public client-side logic, validates all six modes, and stores a dated snapshot in S3. The page updater only publishes a complete, correctly dated snapshot.

This site is independent and is not affiliated with Merriam-Webster. Answer lists can change when the publisher updates its game bundle.

Quordle resets at midnight in your local time zone. This page selects the matching dated puzzle when a nearby time zone is already on the next day.

How many guesses do you get in Quordle Classic?

You get nine guesses to solve four five-letter words at the same time. Each guess is entered on all four boards.

Are the Quordle answers hidden?

Yes. Every answer is hidden by default. You can reveal one word at a time or reveal all four answers for a selected mode.
